Southern Luzon District Supervisor Bishop Eliezer M. Pascua encourages UCCP pastors and church leaders nationwide to discover, learn and adopt the Purpose Driven principles through the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign in order to strengthen and nurture its churches towards continuous growth for God’s glory.
“I call on our churches to adopt Purpose Driven. It will strengthen us, not only our community but the community of people who responds to the call of our Lord,” Bishop Pascua said.
In the same light, Bishop Elmer M. Bolocon endorsed the conduct of the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign in all UCCP churches. Also, a resolution was passed by Southern Luzon Jurisdictional Area to enter into a partnership with Purpose Driven Southeast Asia in conducting the campaign nationwide. A conference of pastors in Palawan was held on November 16 and 17 to discuss the plans and programs for the campaign. More than 40 pastors and church leaders representing more than 20 UCCP churches in Palawan attended the presentation.
Bishop Bolocon has also endorsed Pastor Robert Cosare of United Metropolis Conference and consultant of Purpose Driven Southeast Asia to assist UCCP churches in conducting the Campaign.
For the past two years, thousands of Christians and churches in the country have undergone the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign in their local churches. They also discovered how their lives as Christians have become more fruitful as Purpose Driven Life and Purpose Driven Church books made a tremendous impact in their lives.
